Backing up My Website

Before upgrading your website you need to ensure that you backup your website and database.
Backing up your Database
Log into your cPanel and go to BACKUP.
Here you have 3 choices:
  1. Full Backup
    This provides a full backup of you entire account including mail, databases and website (home Directory)
  2. Home Directory Backup
    This is your website Home Directory - you can backup this and it will download to your computer - you will also need to back up the database.
  3. Database Backup
    THis is your website database only - back this up with option #2
Once you have backed up your site &/or account keep these on your computer or cloud hosting account (like google drive or dropbox etc.)
